JHB’s oldest theatre, The Victory, is appealing to Corporate business to support its rescue plan to save the theatre from closing. Built in 1929, the Victory was revamped in 2005 into a 450 seater theatre with undercover parking and a 400 seater restaurant and music bar, as an Arts & Culture upliftment centre for the youth. Would be dancers and singers from disadvantaged backgrounds are trained at the facility and get to perform both locally and overseas in the Umoja show.
