A late night street sparkles on a Sunday afternoon Gleneagles Road has gone through several transformations. It is one of the central routes through the popular suburb of Greenside, linking the shopping districts of Rosebank and the chic restaurants of Parkhurst to the iconic Emmarentia Dam, Melville Koppies and western suburbs of the city. A little piece on India in Greenside India is country that must be visited. With its fascinating history, colours, sights and sounds it is a true marvel for tourists. However, in this writer’s opinion, the one thing that stands out more than all others is the food. When returning from India, bereft of its cuisine, one is left to roam the streets of Johannesburg in a perpetual state of hunger.
