Ever wonder what happens to the survivors of local reality music competitions? Usually, a handful release an album, tour for a bit and then disappear, while the rest seem to vanish entirely. Not so Cameron Bruce who, having been voted out of the top 14 of Idols a few years ago, has chosen not to follow his peers into early retirement.

Cameron displays several characteristics that set him apart from the rest. The slick vocals, outstanding songwriting and soulful blues guitar licks aside, this young singer/songwriter follows an old rule passed down by the legends: never stop learning. With this in mind, Cameron ensures that he is surrounded by top local musicians and, although it may be his own gig, is always the first to welcome suggestions and to learn from his bandmates. And did we mention that he’s pretty damn good too?
